TN TRB Recruitment 2023: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has started the registration process for the teacher recruitment examination (TN TRE 2023) on the official website at trb.tn.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates can register for TN TRE 2023 until November 30. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling 2,222 vacancies for graduate teachers and block resource teacher educators (BRTE). The written examination for TN TRE 2023 is scheduled to take place on January 7, 2024.

TN TRB Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for TN TRE 2023, candidates must meet certain criteria as outlined below:

1. Candidates should have passed the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TN TET) paper 2.

2. For unreserved category applicants, the maximum age limit is 53 years. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for applicants from the following categories: SC, ST, BC Muslims, BC, MBC/DNC, and DW. These applicants should not be more than 58 years old.

3. Applicants for TN TRE 2023 should fulfill one of the following educational qualifications:

• Graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and a Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed).
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and a Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
• Higher secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a four-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BElEd).
• Higher secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a four-year BA/BSc-Ed or BAEd/BScEd.
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and BEd (Special Education).

4. Applicants must have earned a degree or its equivalent in the subjects or languages in which they are applying.

TN TRB Recruitment 2023: Application Fee

For TN TRE 2023, applicants are required to pay an examination fee as follows:

1. General Category Candidates: Rs. 600
2. SC, SCA, ST, and Differently Abled Persons: Rs. 300

The examination fee is non-refundable. Payment can be made online through the payment gateway using methods such as net banking, credit card, or debit card.
