It’s that time of the year! Apple on Tuesday sent invites for the iPhone 15 series launch. Apple’s big launch is set to take place on September 12 at 10am PT or 10:30pm IST. Apple’s invite for the September event reads: “Wonderlust” which would be hosted at Apple Park in California. The media invite has the Apple logo in several colours, including black, blue and grey that cryptically point to the colour variants the company may introduce the iPhone 15 Pro in. The new iPhone 15 lineup and Apple Watches are expected to be unveiled at the event.

What To Expect From Apple Event On September 12

The tech giant would be hosting the September event from Apple Park and the launch would also be live-steamed via Apple’s website. It should be noted that the company has used pre-recorded videos to launch its iPhone models since 2020. This year’s iPhone lineup may include four models, with the iPhone 15 Pro Max likely to get the biggest upgrades. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is likely to get the biggest upgrade in terms of camera and it may be equipped with a periscope lens, multiple reports have said.

Both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may be lighter than last year’s iPhone 14 lineup. The iPhone 15 Pro models are likely to come with a titanium frame instead of the usual stainless steel that was featured on the predecessors and earlier iPhone models. This means we can expect the weight iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max to carry up to 8 per cent less weight than the previous iPhones.
