Freebie Force Update

Freebie Force has entered Phase 3.

They have created a whole new site that has more features. As with many new sites there have been some glitches, but things are progressing.

With the economy as bad as it is, this is a great site for people wanting to save money. I have personally sponsored 3 friends in the last week because of the downturn in the economy and they all have already gotten more than their $9.95 worth of freebies.

A Secret for Recruiting
Network Marketers

In the last few issues we have been discussing ways of recruiting MLM or network marketers. Today I want to share with you one of the greatest ways of creating a stable network organization by generating a following.

Most people involved in network marketing are looking for guidance and direction. The basis of this technique is simply to provide some guidance or direction for these people.

The vast majority will currently be in other companies and that's great. Your initial goal is not to convince them to leave their company and join you. Your goal is to become a source of information and guidance.

You want to provide quality information to current network marketers so that they will learn to trust your judgment and view you as a valuable resource.

One great way to accomplish this is to run a newsletter that is targeted at network marketers. The topic should be something that you know about or can research.

Here are some examples of topics:
Hot topics in MLM
How to recruit Networkers
Top Network Marketer’s Secrets Revealed

A variation on this is to run a newsletter that is targeted at the customer of the product or service your company offers.

Here are some examples of topics:
How to lose weight
How I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and counting
The truth behind nutrition
How to avoid the poisons in you food
How to avoid Lawyers
The Newest Advances in Cosmetics

This newsletter could be done with email, blogs, video, or interviews.

Creating support for potential customers with your newsletter or blog has a better chance of growing your business. By targeting your product or service rather than your business opportunity you will develop a strong customer base.

Dedicated customers are the foundation of a strong and lasting network marketing company. My mother had five brothers and sisters, all of whom married. One of them became distributors of a famous product based MLM company and recruited two of her siblings. The others (including my family) became customers. This happened sometime in the 1960’s.

None of distributors climbed very high in the organization, but all of them remained customers or distributors to the day of their deaths That is, except for my one aunt who is still alive and still a distributor of the products.

When creating your newsletter don't hype your MLM. Concentrate on providing good information. But always leave a link on how to contact you and how to join your company, or even better, a link to how to get your personal help.

Now you need to market your newsletter, blog, service etc. And make sure you provide good information to your list.

This technique has worked great for several of the most successful network marketing people I know. You can make it happen for you if you simply set up a plan and follow through.

Where's the Light?

Let me share an email I recently received:

“DUE TO RECENT ECONOMIC CONDITIONS, AND THE RISING COST OF ELECTRICITY, GAS, AND OIL, THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL HAS BEEN TURNED OFF.”

I am sure everyone who is reading this newsletter is having a bad to horrible time with the economy. I know I am. My family’s financial future has changed for the worse and it doesn’t look like it’s going to get any better any time soon.

One of Zig Ziglar’s popular quotes is “You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want.” As entrepreneurs we should be looking at the current financial situation differently than others. We shouldn’t be asking, “Where’s the light?” Instead, we should be asking, “How can I help others see the light?”

Now, I am not suggesting we should take advantage of other people’s situation. On the contrary, I am saying we should look at ways of helping these people. And if in the process this also helps us financially, all the better.

How do we put this into practice? Many of us are associated with network marketing companies that offer great products or services that can actually save people money. So sharing these opportunities with people is one great way. If you aren’t, then consider getting involved in one.

Another great way is to provide services to others at reduced rates that are lower than the going rate. I have a friend who knows a little about computers and networks. He offers a service to small companies where he will help them out with any problems at $30 an hour (much less than the over $100 going rate around here. He created a simple flyer and gave them to his friends about a month ago and now has more business than he can handle. By the way, if the problem is beyond his ability he doesn’t charge them, but tells them up front and recommends someone else.

We need to look at our current situation as an opportunity to find ways of helping others. And by helping others we will be helping ourselves.
