Why its CRAZY AND INSANE to get a
part time job paying $10 an hour!
Maybe you have a part time job or are looking for one. Not something full time mind you just something to help out the family with bills etc... You just want to work 5-10 hours a week maybe a night or a weekend when your spouse can watch the kids.
Let's break down the #'s. (Of course each area of the country will be a little different based on pay etc.. But as you can see by the breakdown add your OWN #'s in and more than likely it will still not make sense to get a part time job.)
Lets assume for easy calculation sake you are making $10 per hour and working 10 hours a week and assume 4 weeks in a month. Again you can plug in your own #'s if they don't match exactly.
These jobs could be working retail stores, delivery of pizza, sub shops, warehousing, bookkeeping whatever!
$10 per hour x 10 hours a week = $100 per week GROSS
Lets assume 20% for taxes which would be fairly reasonable for most. So 20% of $100 is $20 in taxes
So you are down to $80 NET paycheck (Which is really $8 an hour after taxes)
But now lets look at the other COSTS of that job.
Lets assume you live 5 miles from your job. (Which may be more or less for you)
Assume you go to your job twice a week. So going back and forth to your job twice a week is a total of 20 miles. (10 miles total each time you go to work)
Assume you get 20 miles per gallon on your car. That means you spent 1 gallon of gas to get to your job for the week. At $3 per gallon.
So you are down to $77 for the week.
Let's also assume it takes you 15 minutes to get to work. At twice a week going back and forth that is 1 hour of time. So you are really spending 11 hours for this job a week and your NET is down to $77.
Here are some additional things that I won't measure in $$$ and Cents but you can put your own value on.
Wear and tear on car. (In the above example you would put roughly 1000 miles on your car in a year)
Those are 11 hours you are away from your family. Are you missing something?
Did you have to hire a baby-sitter? How much did it cost?
How is your boss at the job? Good/bad?
Do you have to deal with office politics?
Low man/woman on the job tends to get the worst work.
Is your employer flexible if something comes up? A sick child or need to help a friend in need. Are they willing to say OK?
So is $7 an hour really worth your time?
And let me ask you.... What do you buy with that money that you earn in that part time job?
Does it help pay for your groceries? Kids toys?, Watch DVD'S? Clothes? Baby formula? coffee? Pet food?
And so much more.

Have you ever felt like you go out and work hard to build your MLM business but the company is the only one that gets rich?

A company that rewards their reps with profit shares of the company. So as the company grows your bonus from the company grows as well. Profit share comes from every order in the company! Your not competing with other reps as anyone that joins is helping YOU with the profit sharing.
A company that is 4 years old but has roughly 500 reps. So they are stable yet have great potential for growth.

This company has a great name "Natures 1st" and it has great products to back it up.
All MLM companies should of had a pay plan like this 20 years ago!

Making Money Online Series
This is the first in a series of articles I will be writing on making money online. Over the course of the series I hope to give you the basics for being successful with online marketing.
The best way (and I would argue the only way) to make money online is through marketing. The internet is a great tool for marketing anything and there are many avenues available for accomplishing this task.
However, I am getting ahead of myself. Before looking at how to market you really need to make a bigger decision, what are you going to market. Perhaps you already have a service or product in mind. That’s great, but keep reading anyway because you want to make sure it’s the right product, service, or niche for you.
When looking at something to promote ask yourself several questions:
First, is there a market? If you know that there are other people who are successfully selling these or similar items, then great. But you may need to do some research at this point. Look for forums and blogs on the topic. It’s also a good idea to search for postings about the specific product/service you want to market. Find out if there are any negative things said about it. You’d hate to spend time and money on something that many potential customers have had bad experiences. That doesn’t mean run away from anything that has a few negative remarks, but make sure there are positive remarks about it out there to balance the scales. After all, look at companies like Microsoft, there are tons of negatives about their products but they are still doing pretty well.
Second, is the product or service worth the money? Don’t market something that is junk. It will reflect on you and your reputation. You should own and use the product/service you are promoting and be able to answer questions about it. If you aren’t happy with the item your marketing and results will definitely suffer.
Third, do you have an interest in the product or service? If you are only selling this item to make money then you will not succeed. You need to have a real interest in the product or service and a real interest in the niche to which the product or service applies. It’s best not to market to a niche that you have no knowledge about or that you aren’t willing to research.
If you have successfully answered these questions, you now have a viable product/service to promote. You’re on your way to making money online!
